About the event: Plants that we start this spring will be grown in SHF's fields to provide for our Community Supported Agriculture program, for MTSO's Dunn Dining Hall, and for donation to area non-profits addressing food insecurity.
What will volunteers do? We will be “seeding” flats in the greenhouse (fondly called the motherhouse). Volunteers are welcome to spend time in conversation and warmth as we start plants for the season ahead.
What will volunteers need to bring or wear? Bring a water bottle and work gloves (if you don't have gloves, they will be provided), Wear sturdy shoes, long sleeves, long pants.
