Our Mission: Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
Our Vision: A world where everyone has a decent place to live.
Our History: Our affiliate was formed in 1989 with leadership from Ohio Wesleyan University. Since then, we have built 71 new homes and repaired existing homes in Delaware and Union Counties.
What We Do
Habitat for Humanity of Delaware & Union Counties partners with low- to middle-income individuals and families who are struggling with finding safe, affordable housing. We rely on generous volunteers and donors to build new homes and repair existing homes in the community. When qualified applicants have completed all program requirements, they are able to purchase a Habitat home with a zero-interest, affordable mortgage.
