Strand Theatre

The Strand Theatre and Cultural Arts Association, Inc owns the management operations and the building that houses the Strand. This board of 15 community leaders has a goal to expand an emerging cultural arts district within Delaware, OHIO through appreciation of films and through the love of protecting historic movie theatres. The Strand Team (sometimes called the Strand Fam) is lead by Managing Director Tracey Peyton whose goal is to provide the best movie-viewing and overall experience to our patrons, our guests and our community.

The mission of the Strand Theatre is to expand an emerging cultural arts district within Delaware, OHIO. The non-profit Strand Theatre has the distinction of being one of the ten oldest first-run movie theatres in the country. The Strand Theatre is an education, cultural and entertainment resource with a mission to "to foster the public's appreciation of films and historic movie theatres as part of the American culture."
