What will volunteers do?
Farm volunteers help with all daily operations of Seminary Hill Farm, including seeding, planting, cultivating, and harvesting of crops for our CSA, for donation to non-profits serving food insecure communities, and for MTSO’s kitchen. If a volunteer has an interest in one aspect of the farm or a special project (such as the children’s garden or establishing vermicomposting), we will collaborate to focus your time toward your interests. Once trained, volunteers can work alone or with a team according to your preference.
Please wear sturdy shoes that can get soiled, gloves if you would like them, and a water bottle. Dress for being outdoors.
