About the event
Plants that we start this spring will be grown in SHF's fields to provide for our Community Supported Agriculture program, for MTSO's Dunn Dining Hall, and for donation to area non-profits addressing food insecurity.
Volunteers are asked to complete this Volunteer and Social Media Waiver prior to attending. If you are a repeat volunteer, this form needs completed only once per year.
Volunteers under the age of 18 are welcome with a parent or guardian.
What will volunteers do?
We will be “seeding” flats in the greenhouse (fondly called the motherhouse) on the north side of MTSO's campus. Volunteers are welcome to spend time in conversation and warmth as we start plants for the season ahead.
What will volunteers need to bring or wear?
Bring a water bottle and work gloves (if you don't have gloves, they will be provided), Wear sturdy shoes, long sleeves, long pants.
