Adult volunteers are needed to assist in our busy kitchen where delicious meals are scratch-cooked for homebound seniors in our Meals On Wheels program. The primary responsibility is packing meals into trays. The tasks involve standing most of the shift and repetitive arm motions. But the tasks are team-based, fast, fun and rewarding.
Volunteers enjoy a free lunch, the comradery of other volunteers and staff, and the good feeling of feeding homebound seniors - without having to deliver meals.
Currently, all onsite volunteers and staff are required to wear masks.
It is typical for a volunteer to commit to a shift on the same day each week. Here is a rundown of currently available shifts:
7-11 Mondays and Thursdays
