The holiday spirit is strong in Delaware and the historical Northwest Neighborhood is no exception.  Join us when we open up 10 decorated houses for a Holiday Home Tour.  We need docents to check in guest at each home.  Docents will be invited to a pre-tour on Friday event so they can see all of the homes.  To signup, go to this link:

Touring the historical Northwest Neighborhood, tourist will walk with guides to several stops hearing about the hauntings in famous places along the route.  We are looking for tour guides (speaking parts) and tour guide helpers (non-speaking parts).  Each tour is 1.5 - 2 hours of walking.  Scripts are provided.  Practice sessions are conducted. A wonderful day of Art Making with families of all shapes ... Sept 14, 12-4p, families will come to the Park to visit 18 different art stops and make art that will live on at the Park, or crafts that are take home, or performances that are participatory.  We need help with setup & tear down, and the artist needs hands on help with the visitors at the different projects.  To sign up go to our page here:

Help us spread the work about upcoming events at Boardman Arts Park. 

Hang flyers in Delaware, Ashley, Radnor, Sunbury, Powell, Galena, Marion, Waldo, Prospect, Lewis Center and/or Marysville (let us know what’s close to you and focus on a handful of locations).

Help the Arts Park, gain some experience and use your creativity by joining us as a marketing intern.  Duties may include:

- social media posts

- creative development with Canva

- prepare communications for mailings

- manage groups within the Customer Relationship System

- website content development and management

- update event calendars

- participate in events, collaborating with sponsors, vendors and performers on messaging and visibility

- other administrative duties as needed

Join our events committee to plan and execute community and fund raising events. Work on one or many events. Take on one or many tasks including, but not limited to:

- work with the committee to plan music, food, vendors, volunteers, activities, etc.

- complete outreach to sponsors, vendors, volunteers and artists

- outline vendor placement and event logistics

- set up auctions and raffles 

- manage vendors, the entrance and/or the performers the day of the event

Participate in planning sessions with board and event team members.

Post volunteer opportunities to social media and the volunteer site.

Solicit volunteers through partner groups such as Rotary, Kiwanis, and area schools.

Provide assignments and schedules to volunteers via Sign-up Genius.

Manage volunteers at events and individual activities (e.g., badges, tools, descriptions of tasks)

Gather volunteer hours for monthly reports and grants.

You can use provided bags to clean up trash along inside and outside of perimeter fence.
