M.A.S.H. is a non-profit organization that supports the veterans across central Ohio at 540 Sunbury Rd. (east of the 36/37 merge behind the bowling alley - go into the bowling alley parking lot and follow to the building behind it). We provide food to active duty, veterans & their families and surviving spouses. We also provide a place for them to interact for camaraderie, building model planes, boats, trains, play cards, quilting, sewing, etc. We also provide greenhouses for veterans to grow food that will get handed out at the pantries. In addition, we host Potluck Breakfasts for various holidays and provide training on benefits for veterans. We are in need of personnel to accept, mark and stock food donations, bag food for veteran pickup and conduct inventories monthly.

Volunteers are required to register on the M.A.S.H. Website and sign up for a required Orientation prior to starting.

We also provide a place for them to interact for camaraderie, building model planes, boats, trains, play cards, quilting, sewing, etc. We also provide greenhouses for veterans to grow food that will get handed out at the pantries. We are in need of personnel to greet any veterans or other visitors at the site, which includes providing forms for new veterans, distributing bags of food, assisting them with any needs such as use of the computers, coffee or notifying anyone on the staff that they are asking for.

We are in need of personnel to help us assist veteran sand other visitors coming to the site and help them with their needs or inquiries.  This includes helping them fill out forms for new veterans, provide bags of food, hand out flyers, take donations and notify anyone on the staff that is being requested.

Looking for a certified plumber to volunteer at M.A.S.H. (Military And Service Heroes) by installing piping and a deep sink into the kitchen area to help us serve meals for our veterans during special holiday potlucks.  M.A.S.H. will pay for any parts if volunteer will not change for labor. This is a one-time event that will require running new piping approximately 20 feet and connecting to a deep sink.  M.A.S.H. provides food and services to our Military Active Duty, Veterans, their families and surviving spouses.

M.A.S.H. (Military And Service Heroes) is looking for a volunteer certified electrician to  install some outlets in our warehouse for our large freezer and refrigerator that supports food that is provided to military active duty, veterans, their families and surviving spouses in central Ohio.   M.A.S.H. will pay for any parts required, if person will not charge labor. This will require putting in new wire and heavy-duty outlets that can support these large appliances in order for us to keep donated meat, chicken, cookies, vegetables, bread and other items frozen and to hold milk, butter, cheese and other perishable items cold for distribution to the veterans in our community.  This is a one-time event whenever available to provide the service.

M.A.S.H. (Military And Service Heroes) is seeking a creative and passionate Volunteer Videographer to capture the stories, impact, and mission of our organization through high-quality video production. This volunteer will help produce engaging content for social media, fundraising campaigns, website features, educational presentations, and community outreach.

Our mission is to serve veterans, active-duty military, military families, and surviving spouses with commitment, compassion, and respect while strengthening the veteran community. Your videos will help inspire volunteers, donors, corporate sponsors, and the community to become part of that mission.

Primary Responsibilities

M.A.S.H. is a non-profit organization with centers in Delaware and Grove City, Ohio that provides a place for active duty, veterans, their families and surviving spouses to get food, camaraderie, support as well as visiting local nursing homes.  We are looking for someone with fundraising experience to help us find the determine the best opportunities for raising money to help support the centers, organizing them and working with companies to be sponsors.  This person will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supporting fundraising activities that generate financial resources, community awareness, and donor engagement. This volunteer works closely with the organization's leadership, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners to ensure fundraising efforts are successful and align with the nonprofit's mission.  Look at our website at https://www.mashpantry.org to learn more about M.A.S.H.  Will be required to attend meetings once a week with leadership on plans, as well as a monthly meeting with an Advisory Board.  Can work from home, as well as work at our 540 Sunbury Rd. (behind the bowling alley) during our normal operating hours Monday-Friday, 9am-noon.  Approximately 5–15 hours per week, with additional time during major fundraising events.

Site to visit is Gables of Marysville, 390 Gables Dr., 4th Thursday, 10-11am. A background investigation is required and would be scheduled by M.A.S.H.

A background investigation is required and would be scheduled by M.A.S.H.
