Help the team pack up and clean up.

Please note clean up will happen once the walk has begun.

Check in at the registration table. 40 Rowland Ave., Delaware, Ohio inside of the Hamilton-Williams Campus Center with the green roof.

Help at the Walk where needed. Will be assigned that morning.

Arrive at 8:30 am to help with set-up for walkers arriving at 9:00 am.

Meet at the Ohio Wesleyan University Jaywalk. 40 Rowland Ave., Delaware, Ohio (in front of the Hamilton-Williams Campus Center with the green roof.)

Volunteer assignments may include:

Directing walkers on the Jaywalk (registration, craft tables, vender booths, walk start location) Pass out flyers with walk information Assigned location on walk route to direct walkers Table floater

 

Welcome walkers to the Peyton Heart table where they can make a heart. The Peyton Heart Project is a global project to help end suicide and bulling and the stigma surround mental health issues. Read more here:  www.thepeytonheartproject.org

Arrive at 8:30 am to set up and prepare for walkers arriving at 9:00 am.

Sign-in at the registration table on the Ohio Wesleyan University Jaywalk. 40 Rowland Ave., Delaware, Ohio (in front of the Hamilton-Williams Campus Center with the green roof.)

One volunteer each, will stand at designated locations to help walkers navigate the walk route and assist walkers in safely crossing roadways.  You will be provided a safety vest to be easily identifiable and help direct the walkers along identified route.

Answer questions about the walk, identify any safety concerns/walker needs between destinations, and assist walkers in crossing roadways.

Arrive at 9:00am to check in with event staff and locate your designated position on the route. Walk begins at 10:30am.

Lead the walk carrying the Delaware Suicide Prevention Coalition banner. Be in place for the start of the walk which is immediately following the Opening Ceremony which starts at 10:30am.

Arrive at 9:30am to prepare for the walk starting at 10:30am.
